How much does external wall insulation (SATE) cost in Valencia?
External wall insulation in Valencia costs €90–125/m² with EPS and €115–155/m² with mineral wool, excluding VAT, for a facade of normal height and access. Some portals quote €60–70/m²: that is the price for large, flat, already prepared surfaces. For a house in Valencia, €90/m² is the realistic minimum.
The price per m² includes:
- Insulation boards (EPS or mineral wool) at the thickness specified in the project
- Adhesive and mechanical fixing with anchors
- Starter, corner and edge profiles
- Fibreglass mesh and base coat
- Primer and finishing render
- Details around windows and corners
Quoted separately: scaffolding and its permit, crack repair, removal of old render, levelling the facade, cornices and sills, relocating pipes, cables or air-conditioning units, and any structural reinforcement. Repairs and finishes
We repair cracks and detached render, prepare the substrate and apply the chosen finish: acrylic renders, decorative coatings or high-durability facade paint. We work on single homes and residents' communities alike.
Are there grants for external wall insulation in Valencia in 2026?
Yes, but the calls open and close. The Generalitat Valenciana call funded by Next Generation EU for energy renovation of buildings closed on 27 February 2026. The new national housing plan (Plan Estatal de Vivienda 2026–2030, Royal Decree 326/2026) funds building renovation through new regional calls. To apply you need energy certificates before and after the works and, for apartment buildings, the building assessment report (IEEV.CV). We help you prepare the technical documents and coordinate with your architect or gestor to apply to whichever programme is open at the time. We do not process the grant ourselves and cannot guarantee it is awarded.

We work in Valencia city and within a 100 km radius: Burjassot, Manises, Paterna, Torrent, Mislata and Quart de Poblet in the metropolitan area, as well as Sagunto, Gandia, Xàtiva, Alzira and Requena. The site visit is free across the whole area, and we can handle the project while you are abroad.

Painting and repair of a simple facade starts at €25–40/m². A complete external insulation system (SATE) costs €90–125/m² with EPS or €115–155/m² with mineral wool, excluding VAT. Scaffolding, crack repair and preparation work are quoted separately after the site visit.
Are there grants for facade insulation?
There are national and regional programmes that pay part of the cost of external insulation, but each call has its own deadline. The Next Generation call in the Valencia region closed in February 2026; calls under the 2026–2030 national housing plan are announced one by one. When you ask for a quote we tell you which programme is open.
EPS or mineral wool: which insulation should I choose?
EPS (expanded polystyrene) is the usual choice in Valencia: €90–125/m², light and a good thermal insulator. Mineral wool costs €115–155/m², does not burn and insulates better against noise. It is chosen for multi-storey buildings, busy streets or where fire regulations require it.
